7th Dec 2009 - Oh, what a night...
A fantastic night was had by all at the East Brunswick Club on Sunday, and The Little Stevies are incredibly grateful to all the guests who made it such a special show. Austin Busch kicked the night off with his own rendition of Stevies' classic 'Little Stevie', and Michael Barker added some magic to the yet-to-be-released 'Because I Have You All'. Then it was the Stevies' turn at some covers, performing Liz Stringer's 'Sinking Like Stone' and Jordie Lane's 'I Could Die Looking At You'. Sal Kimber made the Stevies' 'Somewhere We've Just Been' her own, as did Ryan Meeking with 'Peggy Suicide'. The Stevies then became Sophie Koh's backing band for her classic 'Anywhere' before the boys from Bonjah took to the stage to perform their rendition of the Stevies' 'People Need People'. And finally, Wally De Backer bumped Josh from the drum kit to the electric guitar to perform a stunning version of Paul Simon's 'Graceland', celebrating The Little Stevies imminent trip to Memphis, Tennessee where they'll showcase at the International Folk Alliance Conference 2010. All the guests returned to the stage for an encore performance of 'Dear Daniel'. The night was hosted by master MC Andrew McClelland, presiding splendidly over the chaos. And the question on many peoples' lips was: "Did the Stevies make it to Memphis". Hells yes! Thanks to everyone who came down and showed their love - it's gone a long way! Keep an eye out for online videos taken from what was a very memorable performance.

Part-mockumentary, part-music video, the band describes it as 'kind of like Thriller, but with bikes instead of zombies'. You can watch both the abridged and extended versions of the film on the 'videos' section of this website.

5th Oct 2009 - The Little Stevies head to Memphis!
The Little Stevies have been officially invited to showcase at the 22nd International Folk Alliance Showcase in Memphis, Tennessee! The event, which takes place in February 2010, fosters North America's effervescent folk circuit, whose alumni include Bright Eyes, Iron & Wine and Joanna Newsom.

The buzz around next year's conference (apart from the presence of The Little Stevies!) will be the attendance of Bob Dylan, there to receive a lifetime achievement award. The band will be heading over in time to play some side-shows, and will be back in time for their run of shows in Western Australia in February - March.
